Sheena

I have always had pets and would not want to be without them.  At the moment we have Stacey our Shelty.  Pippa, Tigger, Pooh, Bella, Bacardi & Coke our Cats.  

I offer day care for 5 regular dogs who have been coming to us since they were puppies and foster care for dogs and small caged animals.  I have a lovely mature and secure garden, ideal to allow the dogs to play and an area where we can put the guinea pigs etc to graze without being bothered by the dogs.

Qualifications:Certificate from the University of Lincoln; Canine First Aid.

Rob

I started VIPPIES with Sheena in 2006 while I was a postman in Metheringham. 

I now also run The Works Local Ltd a local business directory with Sheena and spend most of my time within this business.

My roll within VIPPIES has always been backup for the business ensuring that we have the cover when your regular walkers and carers are unavailable.

I also enjoy looking after the Day and foster care dogs that stay with us.

Ruth

I have worked for VIPPIES since 2008.  I love the job come rain or shine, it gives me such pleasure seeing the dogs waggy tails when I arrive.

My job isn't all about walking, I foster dogs, which is great company for my Westie Lilly, it's just sad to see them leave again when their owners holiday is up! I feed cats and small animals, giving them cuddles and playtime.  I've always loved animals and always wanted to work with them, and I'm now in the perfect job, working with a variety of breeds and I couldn't ask for anything more. Each one has it's own character and makes me smile, it's great to see them all.

Debbie

I have worked for VIPPIES since October 2009

I find my job very rewarding.  Being able to provide the kind of care that I would want for my dog when I go away.  I walk dogs, and take care of cats and small pets, I also offer foster care and day care, which is great company for my dog Fin, who is a very caring border collie.

I can also come to your home and provide a live in service for you if you have the need for care within the home.  I look forward to meeting you and your pets.

Denise

I have worked for VIPPIES since September 2009

I look after the animals mainly in the North Hykeham area.  As I have lived here for over 33 years this gives me a good knowledge of the nice areas to walk.

Since joining the team I have had mainly cats to look after.  My colleagues call me the Cat Lady.  I would love to walk more dogs please!  In my spare time I am a member of the Ladies walking (and talking) group in North Hykeham

Janice

My name is Janice and I have I have just moved back from America, I have known Sheena since we were 11 years old.

 I have will be collecting a new puppy on 14/2/2012 this is my sons birthday present and today it doesn't have a name.  

I am backing up all the walkers in all the areas and concentrating mainly on the Branston and surrounding area with Ruth as this is one of our busiest areas.

Avis

I have been part of the VIPPIES team since 2010.

My role is General Pet Carer. Within this role I Walk Dogs, pet sit, provide equine care, foster and day care

A lifelong country girl, I have always had one or two large and boisterous dogs under my feet at home or by my side for our morning tramp across the fields.

Over the years I’ve been responsible for the care of a menagerie consisting of Ponies, Rabbits, Guinea pigs, Gerbils, terrapins and a one eyed cat called Frank. Neither am I fazed by the unusual, having played mother to a Barn Owl, a Vietnamese Pot Bellied Pig and 3 white rats.

I'm fully police checked and insured as part of my employment with VIPPIES.

Maggie

I have been part of the VIPPIES team since 2010

I mainly look after Day Care and Foster Dogs.

Pets have always been a large part of my life and if they are large or small I am happy to look after them all. I will maintain your training program if they are puppies.

Jade

I am Sheenas daughter and I am 17 years old, I am a vegetarian, have finished school and will be doing the apprenticeship in Business Administration with The Lincoln College in 2011/12.                                Mum started the business when I was 11 and I have grown up with lots of dogs and cats around. I love to go on the visits and walks with her.  I also help our other walkers out with assisted walking where there are 3 or more dogs at a house, and other visits for small pets and reptiles. I will now be the first person you speak to if you have a booking or enquiry about pet care.             I am fully insured and Police checkes as part of my employment with VIPPIES

Jake

My name is Jake and I am Sheenas Son. I am 18 years old and I am now helping her in both of the businesses as I have now passed my driving test i am able to provide dog walking in the Cherry Willingham and surrounding area.                        I also help Rob in The Works Local Ltd covering the delivery for the Branston, Metheringham and Saxilby Directories.                                             I am available for to Live in if you have multiple pets.

Foster care

Doreen, Marjorie, Jane, Bev, Zoe and Lynn  all help us with foster care and some with walking in their local areas.

We have retired ladies who can offer a sedate one to one care, or families who have cats and children and offer a more active experience for your dogs.

Our foster carers take the dogs out with them on day trips to the sea, or the local nature reserves and on family visits. They are very much part of their family during their care.

Jo

I have been part of the VIPPIES team since 2009.

I mainly look after Day Care dogs and I foster dogs during the school holiday.

I live in a local village outside Lincoln with my husband and 3 children.  We all love to walk and enjoy having a dog as part of our family. 

We enjoy taking them out to the woods and walking along the river bank locally.

Helen

Having always had an interest in animal welfare and pet care the opportunity to work for VIPPIE is an absolute dream.  After a long career in the health and social care sector I became part of the VIPPIES team in June 2011.  

I provide doggie day care and foster care.  To be able to give dogs a loving home to stay, whilst away from their owners is very rewarding.  The dogs who have stayed have all settle in very quickly with my dogs Lucy and Ralph.

Lucy is  a young greyhound, sweet and gentle and very playful if visiting dogs like to play.  Ralph is a young Airdale Terrier who is full of fun. 

I live in a village North of Lincoln with lovely walks to explore with the dogs and a nice safe garden for them to play in.
